In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, this read aloud video is a book that introduces the wide variety of emotions and moods that can be expressed through music.
There are so many ways we can help our students to express themselves through music to promote a positive mental health lifestyle. Music has a way of captivating your soul in unexplainable ways. Listening to one song can change your entire day, can put a smile on your face or make you cry tears of joy. I encourage my students, that they can express themselves no matter how they’re feeling constructively through music in a way that’s productive, respectful and not harmful to others.
